Baseline Study of Mobile Therapy Van Project
The study is being conducted for The Hans Foundation (THF) to establish baseline status of different indicators of Mobile Therapy Van project for persons with disabilities (PWDs). The objectives of the study are to, inter alia, understand the issues and challenges faced by PWDs and their caregivers, capture perceptions of communities and status of caregivers, assess current level of caregivers’ knowledge and skills, and PWDs’ level of access to services and entitlements. Findings and recommendations of the study are expected to improve access of PWDs to services, enhance their social inclusion, and ensure systemic responsiveness. Ajmer District of Rajasthan is the geography of study.
A Study of Comprehensive Rehabilitation Mechanisms for Girls affected by Child Marriage
The study is an initiative of Centre for Community Economics and Development Consultants Society (CECOEDECON) under the organisation’s UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund)-funded project titled “SWABHIMAAN- Advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights in Rajasthan, free from any form of discrimination and violence through evidence-based advocacy, collectivization, innovation and adopting human rights-based approach”. It aims to strengthen rehabilitation mechanisms for girls affected by child marriage by exploring, inter alia, gaps and challenges in support and rehabilitation services for empowerment of young girls, and evidence that prevent child marriage and support married girls. The study is being conducted in five districts of the State of Rajasthan.
